1st Year "Boyfriend"

Selina and Mitchell Scezina have been an on again off again couple since the middle of her 1st year. Being a year older than her, he often finds his eye wandering to those females that could have “more” to offer. He is a quiet and brooding artist, choosing to spend most of his time in his room working on his latest creation. When he is not working on his artistic talents he is working on his seductive ones. His strongest classes are Trump art and Martial arts.

Finding the relationship between Selina and Dorian hard to understand.
“How can a Girl and Boy just be friends?” he tried to interfere every chance he got.
Selina refusing to let his childish ways come between her and Dorian, and does her best to ignore his antics.

Even thou she knows what he is, there is something about him that always draws her back.
Like a moth to a flame she knows whole-heartedly she is going to get burned.

Cassia and Selina became fast friends. Having all the same classes during their First year and both being Shadow born they had much in common. Cassia was from Shadow Earth also, but from a MUCH different time. She grew up in the 14th century. When the world was young and much was still being discovered. Her speech separated her from many of the other students of Amber, but her mind was much the same as Selina’s. She was excellent in Charms and Potions, her wit was sharp, and her tongue sharper.

By the 2nd year Selina, Cassia and Miranda were friends.
Cassia and Miranda became the closest of the 3.
The 2 girls became inseparable, while Selina found more comfort and confidence with Dorian.

2nd year, strong in Transfiguration and Shape Shifting.

Miranda’s parents are well known in the Politics of Amber, and she is not afraid to let any that will listen know as much. When Selina was first assigned to the room, Miranda let it be known that she was not at all happy having a Shadow born in her room. The evenings were silent as the two Girls refused to speak with one another. But, after time and Miranda’s need for help in Charms, they quickly over came their differences. The girls became friends, not necessarily confidants, but friends.

As the first year came to an end and they began to prepare for the 2nd year trials that would surly come the two began to grow closer. As 2nd year began they could be seen walking the compound between classes together, or sitting in the common room chatting. Sharing minor secrets with each other.
Nothing that would change the thoughts of the other, but things like who they thought was cute, ugly, which girl was the biggest tease so on and so forth.
(The things that most girls age 15-16 gossip about.)
